Carl Knoll, Fischern, Figural Porcelain Centerpiece Basket, fourth quarter 19th century, of tall form in the "Dresden" style, the standard modeled as a cornucopia-bearing allegorical figure of Abundance attended by a pair of rollicking putti, the modified navette-form bowl pierced and ornamented with applied porcelain flowerheads as is the scroll-footed base, the base with the underglaze blue Knoll "beehive" mark, h. 20", w. 14-1/2", d. 10".

Carl Knoll, Fischern, Figural Porcelain Centerpiece Basket: Base of the shaft cracked and repaired (bellow the female figure) and there are scattered minor chips to floral decoration. One small hairline crack to basket and minor soiling throughout.
