Complex Meissen Porcelain Figure Group,

Complex Meissen Porcelain Figure Group, fourth quarter 19th century, depicting a pair of near-nude sea sprites accompanied by a nude putto pulling a fish-filled net containing a seated infant putto, the interior of the base with the Meissen crossed swords mark in underglaze blue, h. 12", w. 10", d. 6".

Complex Meissen Porcelain Figure Group: Standing figure's outstretched hand missing fingers and exhibits signs of repair. Both putti with fingers missing on one of their hands. Kneeling figure missing one toe, the rest of the toes repairs and inside of her elbow has a small hairline crack. Chipping to raised decoration around the base, in about 7 places, as well as minor loss to glaze in several places.
