Rare, Large American "Cigar Store" Blackamoor, third quarter 20th century, the carved and polychromed wooden figure of a youth wearing a black cap, a black waistcoat, a plaid shirt and boldly red- and white-striped pants, h. 48-1/2", w. 15", d. 10-1/2".
Condition reportRare, Large American "Cigar Store" Blackamoor: There is an open age crack down the front of his body, and a smaller crack at the front left corner of his hat. Scuffs and chips to the paint. Was probably made in the mid 20th century to look older
