K-18 - Cavalry saber - Starr Contract of 1818. Iron backstrap/pommel, reverse "P" knuckle-bow and crossguard. 85% leather remains on grip. 31 7/8" curved blade with an unstopped fuller. Marked "US P LS N. STARR". Blade is graying - with some dark areas. Two-ring, japanned black iron scabbard. Considering the age, condition would rate about II.....$600.00
