K-85 - Custom, high ranking Masonic official's dress sword. Darkened plum patina on detailed silvered knight's helmet/dragon pommel. Unusual open-winged crossguard with a stylized silver and enamel red cross and blue enamel crown. White ivory grip etched with cross, triangle and "W.J.C.", crown and cross. 28" engraved blade with knights in battle, floral work, stylized crusader scene - gold washed. Made by "W.C. LILLEY & CO. COLUMBUS OHIO". Nickeled scabbard named to "JESSE W. WAMBAUGH" with elaborate three-dimensional bands - the upper being armor/a knight's helmet and a relief enameled red cross, the center consisting of a crowned stand of arms, floral work and a crown/red enameled cross and the tip having symbols/floral work/figures and a hand holding a cross.
