Civil War POTTS HUNT LONDON musket

M-19 - Civil War "POTTS & HUNT LONDON" percussion musket. Browned lock, two bands and the 28 3/4" cut-down barrel (was originally 33"). Brass trigger guard and butt plate. Confederate usage as stock comb has been taken down and a part of a buckle has been crudely fitted to the stock, with a strip of leather and nails to act as a sling swivel. Crude checkering on "wrist" and middle of the stock. Period repair to top of stock behind the hammer - a wide band of brass and nails. Overall an aged patina. A field used weapon. III.....$375.00
