Austrian M1866 Wanzel Lorenz rifle

M-20 - Austrian M1866 Wanzel conversion of the Lorenz rifle. Breech loading with a hinged block having an extended thumb lever. 25 1/2" octagon barrel with a stud to accommodate a saber bayonet. Curved adjustable sight. Barrel is proofed and tang is marked "WEITZEL-GRAZ". Iron side plate trigger guard and butt plate. Raised cheek rest on stock. Lockplate is stamped "860" (1860) and also with a double-headed Austrian eagle. Overall all parts are brown with some fine pitting. Sling swivel and original ramrod. II.....$500.00
