L-30 - U.S. used WWII German military photo album by a member of the "VIENNA MILITARY POLICE". 203 photos include views of war ruins, Scottish soldiers, buddies, Russian Allies, the palace grounds, winter training - 1944, use of motorcycles, the "Prater", etc. Also a pass for Vienna to Linz, a speeding citation in Russian, a Vienna Area Command insignia, two newspapers - "FDR DIES" and "DEAD - Hitler Killed At His Post, Nazis Report" and a rare photo of GI's examining "Hitler's Eagle's Nest, Berchtesgaden Bavaria" - dated "7. 18. 45.".
