H-259 - Lot of Iwo Jima captured Japanese items: (1) Banzai headband with stenciled characters and two flags. Partially tattered and blood stained. (2) Small silk "meatball" flag. 4 3/4" x 6 7/8". (3) Small Japanese signal flag - divided into four triangles (red, white and two blue). 4 3/4" x 6 7/8". (4) Portrait photo of a Japanese officer. On reverse: "Another Good Nip Iwo Jima". (5) Photo of Marine examining Japanese weapons - sign reads 9th Division. Reverse: "…Jap Rocket & Launch Jap Mortar Captured on Iwo Jima". (6) Photo of a Marine at PT.
