18th Century Chippendale Walnut Tall Chest, Maryland, Molded Cornice Over Three, Over Two, Over Four Graduated Drawers Flanked by Fluted Quarter Columns on a Molded Base, Detailed Skirt and Bold Ogee Bracket Feet; the Secondary Wood Consists of Yellow Pine; approx. 42 1/2" W x 20" D x 62 7/8" H
Condition reportThe Chippendale High Chest is 42 1/2" wide x 20" deep x 62 7/8" tall. The Graduated drawers have had lip repairs and the five smaller drawers have had drawer pull holes filled. The hardware is not original. The drawer fronts have wonderful figured walnut and the feet, top, locks and back are original however one of the rear foot facings have came off and I have the original piece. It could use a little tune-up but nice. No reserve.
