Portrait of a Young Man Seated on a Red-painted Chair. Unsigned. Oil on canvas, c. 1840, 34 x 27 in., in a later molded giltwood frame. Condition: Relined, retouch.

Condition: Several large areas of retouch to background and clothing a few small spots on face.
