carved and painted, wolf-headed figure mounted on back of raven with another raven's head and possibly an owl's head, late 19th/early 20th century, 12 x 4-1/2 x 3-1/2 in. Original painted surface with chips and losses, chip to ear of wolf, chips to handle of rattle, 1-1/2 x 1/4 in. chip near foot of wolf figure, rattle separated on its original glue joint, other chips, cracks, paint loss and surface abrasions throughout, red tape residue on handle.
