Description

A late 18th or early 19th century marble and ormolu mount clock signed as Parisian in origin. The four fluted pillars rise from the marble base to support a frieze enclosing a clock with a circular porcelain dial a silk suspended pendulum and count wheel strike.

Condition

The clock has had restorations, including the replacement of the pendulum. There is no guarantee of either the mechanical performance of clocks nor the completeness and originality of their parts and components.
