Description
ovoid with glossy alkaline glaze, attributed to Crawford County, Georgia, mid 19th century, possibly by James Long or John Becham, 16 in. Several cracks (some star, longest 8 in.), scattered small chips, two glaze chips in lower wall, base fire blackened (possibly used for cooking). Provenance: John Burrison Collection.
