Georgia Federal poplar huntboard,

poplar with birch(?) legs and yellow pine drawer secondary, two dovetailed drawers, turned legs, attributed to Georgia, 19th century, 42 x 40 x 19 in. Splits and checking to top, minor pest damage mostly at rear legs, one drawer bottom possibly an old restoration, one drawer front with plugged hole and one with three nail holes, other normal wear, abrasions and minor losses consistent with age and use. Provenance: Estate of the Late Wyatt W. Childs, Barnesville, Georgia.
