Monumental Burlington County, New Jersey Quaker needlework dated 1812, attributed to the Evesham or Chesterford school, this dramatic sampler features a large central depiction of the Westtown school in Chester County, Pennsylvania. below a crescent sky with sequin stars and an extract above, all within a meandering vine and ribbon border, 25 1/2'' x 22 1/4''.
