Park Room Murals - Central Park by Lillian Kennedy

Spanning the length of the Park Room, the 52-foot, five-section mural by artist Lillian Kennedy was commissioned for the Park Room's creation in 1988. As an elegant counterpart to Ron Genereux's contemporary renderings of the Central Park mural in the Crystal Gazebo/Maximilian's Pavilion Room, Kennedy's mural depicts the style and grace of fin de siècle 19th-century Manhattanites relaxing in the Park. The LeRoy children – Bridget, Carolyn, Maximilian, and Jennifer – make cameos as park revelers in period dress, interspersed throughout the mural. The artist is available to assist the buyer with reinstallation of the murals. All mural sections are H7', with widths 17', 4', 13', 9', and 4.5'
