FRENCH MANTLE CLOCK. White marble and brass with two classical figures on either side, one is Cupid asleep, the other is a woman with a lamp. Other decorations include baskets of flowers, weapons and a relief plaque of cupids. The enamel dial with gilding and hand painted floral garlands is marked "Sormani, Paris" as is the brass frame on the back (glass missing from back). Brass works. With pendulum, no key. 20"w. 15 1/2"h.
