Ancient Pre-Columbian Copper Nose Ornaments, from northern Peru, Moche culture, ca. 200 - 500 A.D. Matching pair, each showing a pair of birds in flight, wings outstretched behind, beaks acting as attachment point for inside nostrils. One measures 3-3/8"W x 1-3/4"H, the other 3"W x 1-3/4"H; with custom stand 5"L x 2-1/2"W 5-1/8"H.
PROVENANCE: Ex-private NM Collection.
