Note: The Spanish ship "Nuestra Senora de la Pura y Limpia Conception" sailed on July 23, 1641 from Vera Cruz, mexico to Spain with a flotilla of thirty ships. Caught in a hurricane, the Conception suffered severe damage and sank off the coast of Hispaniola. On November 28, 1978 Burt D. Webber discovered the wreck yielding a treasure trove of silver, gold, astrolabes, porcelains and various silver objects. (10000/15000)
