Description

PRINTED COTTON DAY DRESS, 1830's. Red, black, brown and white cube and twisted column print on mushroom ground having long gathered sleeve with ruffled cuff and yoke, full two tiered skirt, front buttoning bodice lined with muslin having hook & eye closures, muslin side pocket, milk glass buttons (several missing or replaced). Bust 34, waist 27, length 46 1/2. Scattered small holes in skirt, hooks & eyes rusted, good.
