The board is mounted in a shadow box style frame, fronted by a 3" wide flat wood border, 57" wide by 39 3/4" tall, with black painted edging running around the interior above the glass. In the center of the board is a vignette of two Winchester-armed hunters surveying a dead bear in a woodland scene, which is flanked with a moose head and a mallard in flight and surrounded by white and red/ white text listing the company address and products. Over 100 cartridges, bullets and primer tins are arranged in the "Double W" pattern, and all are present and accounted for. Marked "FORBES CO. BOSTON" in the lower right hand corner, with a paper label on the back reading "PRESENTED WITH COMPLIMENTS/ of the/ WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS Co/ PLEASE HANG IN A PROMINENT PLACE" and a stamp "No. 1949" below.

Fine, with some light flaking of the green background and mild handling marks. All markings are strong, images are clear, and every cartridge is secure and well kept. The frame is very good, with some mild scuffs and paint flakes. A superb addition to any collection of Winchester arms or products.
