High quality vintage pond yacht model. Hollowed mahogany hull that is natural above the waterline and painted green below. With a heavy lead keel. Vessel carries many nickel fittings including boom collar and jaws, turnbuckles, traveler, complicated steering mechanism, spreaders etc... Set onto a wood cradle with nickel presentation placque reading "Sloop May 2nd. Built Oct 23rd 1931. Presented to James Bruce Jr. by Father James Bruce Sr. Length C.A. 36" Beam 9" L.W.L. 26" Mast 57". there are also nickel nameboards on the bow that read "May 2nd" 42" long x 9" wide x 71" tall
