From Lower Egypt, New Kingdom Period, ca. 1575 - 1070 B.C. Lot of 5 steatite scarabs: 1) Osiris with staff and ma'at; 2) Person facing with plants in hand; 3) Ankh doubled and scrollwork; 4) Deer, a vulture and nefer neb (beautiful lord); 5) Wedjet that doubles as the crown of Lower Egypt. Sizes range 18-12 mm.
PROVENANCE: Ex-Private Israeli Collection.
