Egypt, Late Period, ca. 25th-30th Dynasty, 712-332 B.C. Of pale blue-green glazed faience composition figure, represented in Mummiform shape, standing on a trapezoidal base with back dorsal pillar, wearing a beard and tripartite wig, arms crossed holding the pick, hoe, his finely modeled face with eyebrows and cosmetic lines in sunk in relief, deeply engraved with single vertical columns of hieroglyphic inscriptions, which reads 'The Osiris Padiaset (born) of Asset-iy, true voice.' 6-1/8"H(15.7cm), complete with custom display stand.
