"Political
Impressive Teddy Roosevelt Tapestry

Theodore Roosevelt “Rough Riders” Tapestry, Very Fine.
46.5” x 49”, a wonderful wool tapestry, primarily in muted shades of brown, with well-faded threads of other colors woven throughout. At the center is a portrait of Teddy Roosevelt, with his name on a scroll beneath. Surrounding him is a circle of Rough Riders and the corners contain images of dogs attacking a water buffalo. Shield and heraldic eagles appear at the center of each side. There are several pulls and holes scattered throughout the fabric, but they mix well with the design. All in all, this is an impressive tapestry and one that would make an excellent wall hanging or display."
