Exceptional Quality “Borough of Elizabeth” Note

March 25, 1790, One Penny, Borough of Elizabeth, Very Choice EF+ to About Uncirculated.
A very rare, late issue, this example being perhaps the finest to be offered of the denomination. This note appears virtually CU, especially from the face which enjoys four extremely large, even margins and excellent centering, which adds to the great eye appeal. The reverse is well printed, with some trivial possible repair at left, and has three extra huge margins itself. All four corner tips are sharp, the note being extraordinary in quality for the issue and certainly missing from most, even advanced collections."
