Oil on canvas stretched to 39 X 21 inches with an overall size of 50 X 32 inches. Good condition. Signed lower right. Bears a label from Edwin A. Ulrich Museum of Art, Wichita, Kansas. Cikovsky studied extensively in Russia before emigrating to the United States in 1923. He exhibited that year in New York City at the Charles Daniels Gallery. He was a member of New York City institutions, including the National Academy of Design (Associate 1968; Academician 1970); National Institute of Arts and Letters; and Society of Painters, Sculptors, and Engravers. This work is dated on the stretcher, 1956. Good condition overall."
