Porcelain 7 1/4 inch vase decorated in 1921 by Carl Schmidt, who painted a photorealistic scene of sailboats at harbor. Impressed with the Rookwood symbol, the date and shape 295 E and marked with Mr. Schmidt's monogram. Uncrazed with the vase slightly out of round which does not affect the aesthetic appeal. The artist's attention to detail here even fishermen being visible, some small white clouds and birds flying overhead.
Uncrazed, vase is slightly out of round. Can be felt more than seen.
