653. Collection of seven puppets from INSIGHT CBS television show 1960s. A collection of seven puppets used for the long-running, inspirational CBS television program, INSIGHT, in the early 1960s. Constructed of hand-painted and detailed wooden heads with spring-loaded moveable jaws, wooden hands and feet, yarn or velvet hair attached puppeting sleeve and each features hand-stitched clothes of different styles to match their profession. Each measures approx. 17 in. tall. The professions included in the lot are a Congressman, a Scientist, a Science Child, one unlabeled, The Press, Joe Citizen and a Worker. They exhibit some minor wear and cracking; otherwise, very good condition.
