813. Dale Evans Stage Costume. A Western costume worn by Dale Evans in the 1940s by the designer Turk. A two-piece outfit comprising a green wool vest and skirt, both decorated with cacti, stars, and steers, in embroidery and rhinestones. Both pieces have Turk label. Together with a copy of a photograph of Dale Evans wearing the outfit. (At the time, the vest was a jacket). Purchased from the Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Estate auction in 2003 with a COA.
