Marie Berger (Ft. Worth, TX, 20th Century) "Spiral". 22" X 30" etching with copper and brass applique, #31 of 100. Pencil signed. Marie was born in Fort Worth, Texas. She attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth & St. Louis School of Fine Art at Washington University in St. Louis. Marie was the only foreign artist every asked to show at the famous Bateau Lavar Gallery on the Via Margretta in Rome, Italy, and the Rassegna pemancente d'arte Contemporaned in Veterlo, Italy. She has also showed at Oklahoma Art Museum, Wittie Museum, Fort Worth Museum, Lagona Gloria, Austin, Texas. Also included is original certificate of authenticity from Ludeke Gallery. Fine condition.
