Item Details
Description
1907 Cyrus Noble Whiskey SIGN Measures 46 x 34, including the frame - a stunning, original sign depicting a game of Faro played in a Bisbee, Arizona saloon at the turn of the last century. Entitled "Bucking the Tiger", the image was taken from a painting by Clarence M. Leavy and shows townsmen gathered around the gamblers, dealer and look out. On the table are the Case Keeper, Layout, Card Box, Chips and Coppers. This early gamblers image is considered one of the most sought after ad pieces. This has not been trimmed. This is actually the only known one we can find that has not been cut. However, it has slight water damage a couple of inches up from the bottom and have been professionally restored. This is framed in vintage high quality quarter sewn oak frames, 3 1/2" wide
