Mary Bradstreet Payment to Jewish Merchant Napthale Hart Meyers 1769

MARY BRADSTREET & NAPTHALE HART MEYERS. Wife of Colonel and later Major American General John Bradstreet, plus a Colonial Jewish Merchant.
Autographed Manuscript Document Signed, “Mary Bradstreet” on a 5.25” x 8.25” Sight Draft of “Exchange for £124, London 1, Dec. 1769,” Fine. Some old reinforcement strips on the reverse centerfolds and a trivial corner hole and irregularity at bottom of no consequence. This draft is made out to be paid to “Nap H. Myers” boldly written in his hand in deep brown ink within the text. The form was sent to “Col. Jn. Bradstreet at Albany in North America”. The reverse has the completed receipt and a second signature of Napthale Hart Meyers, it being paid in full “New York 9th June 1772” by Napthale Hart Meyers’ “...attorney Samuel Judah”. An early payment from an Early American Military Hero to a Colonial Era Jewish Merchant.
