ENRICO CARUSO, Famous Italian Tenor.
Typed Letter Signed, “Enrico Caruso,” in blue ink, December 11, 1920, The Vanderbilt Hotel, New York, 6.25” x 5”, Choice Near Mint. Letter written on Vanderbilt Hotel stationery, cover addressed to Umberto Sorrentino. The letter thanks Sorrentino for a kind letter. Among Caruso’s many honors were commendatore in the Order of the Crown of Italy, the French Legion of Honor, and the Order of the Crown Eagle of Prussia. The letter is in Near Mint condition with a huge signature.
