Partly-printed Document Signed, “Geo. Clinton” as Governor, on fine-laid, watermarked paper, April 27, 1787, New York, 8” x 12.5,” Very Fine. 2” x 1,” bold, bright signature with lovely flourishes, along the left side of the document, which is the appointment of Seth Kirby as a lieutenant in the state militia. Usual folds, light soiling, seal missing, otherwise in wonderful condition.
