Autographs GEORGE CLINTON, Colonial Governor of New York. Early Autograph Document Signed “Geor: Clinton Clerk of the Peace &c”, May 7, 1761, Ulster County, NY, 11.25” x 7.5”, archival repairs on verso, a few small marginal losses, else Very Fine. A great, early document appointing Petrus Edmondus Elmondorph of Kingston as the “Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas and also of the Peace and of the court of Sessions of the Peace of in for the County of Ulster...”. A nice, early example that makes a nice presentation.
