Original, handcut silhouette profiles of George and Martha Washington are mounted on oval gold backgrounds, framed under glass in black lacquered wooden frames, 4.5” x 3.5” each. Both have been signed by the artist, “B. Kendall”, with handwritten labels on the back of each frame explaining that “Beatrice Kendall” created these original cutouts. There is a ring atop each frame for hanging and display, and each profile faces different directions: George to the left and Martha to the right. Frames with light wear and scratches front and back, but the silhouettes are crisp, clean, and in excellent condition: A stunning pair! (2 items)
