Kate's toy airplane from Season One. Kate's toy airplane, a Douglas DC-3 propeller aircraft, is the key prop in her life story prior to Oceanic Flight 815 crashing onto the Island. The plane belongs to Tom, Kate's childhood sweetheart. Kate and Tom bury the plane in a time capsule, which they then dig up as they wait for the time for Kate to meet up with her dying mother. Measures approx. 4 in. long with the number “5025” marked on the wing. The plane is first seen in the episode, “Whatever the Case May Be,” but is a recurring theme and seen in three other episodes of the series. Includes two larger-scale prop toy airplanes in different states of disrepair used for the long shots. Includes two small-scale as well as two larger-scale prop toy airplanes in different states of disrepair which were used for the long shots.
