Sawyer's letter to the man who murdered his parents. Penned in 1976 by an 8-year-old James Ford on a torn-off sheet of lined notebook paper during his parents' funeral, this letter is addressed to "Mr. Sawyer," the grifter who Sawyer deems responsible for his parents' deaths in the episode, "Confidence Man." At the age of 19, James Ford takes up the name, "Sawyer," and begins carrying the letter with him at all times in the event he ever meets the real Sawyer. Includes the original letter-size envelope with "America's Bicentennial, Knoxville, Tennessee 1976" sticker affixed.
