Faraday's Oxford time machine and rat maze. Time machine device created by Daniel Faraday as part of an unauthorized experiment at Oxford. Faraday uses the rat maze to demonstrate how the time machine works to Desmond in the episode, "The Constant." The wooden maze stands on legs approx. 45 in. tall and is constructed of two sections (each measuring approx. 4 ft. square x 6 ¾ in. deep), each covered with a piece of Plexiglas.
