Remains of the statue of Taweret
Remains of the statue of Taweret. This sandaled four-toed foot and lower leg is all that remains of the statue of Taweret following its collision with the Black Rock in 1867. This massive foot, measuring 5 ft., 11 in. x 3 ft. x 6 ft., 8 in., is constructed of rigid polyfoam painted to resemble ancient stone. Exhibits some chipping to the foam along the extremities of the foot and some paint loss in areas from production use.
