SCRIMSHAW SAIL MAKER'S BELT. A most unusual item is this sail maker's leather belt with a scrimshaw tooth, sail maker's palm and a few needles. This scrimshaw tooth used to hold the needles (most of the bee's wax is now gone) has a large 3 masted sailing under full sail and caption below reads "A STITCH IN TIME - SAVES NINE". Tooth is apprx 4" tall.
