From Nagada / Naqada, Egypt, Phase II/III, ca 3500 to 2800 BC. Black-top jar, in conical form, red on the lower base section and about 1 inch of the rim with shiny black finish created during he firing process in the kiln. 6-1/8"D x 4-1/4"H.
