Carousel Horse, Philadelphia Toboggan Company
Although the name might suggest otherwise, the Philadelphia Toboggan Company (PTC) was one of the major studios creating carousels. Formed in 1903 to build roller coasters, PTC crafted five carousels in its first year and went on to build many of the finest carousels ever made. This jumper rode on the Fairyland Park Carousel in Illinois. It is in old park paint, measures 42" x 49" and is missing a portion of its left ear.
