Collection of Elizabeth Taylor & Richard Burton Photographic Negatives by Gianni Bozzacchi. The collection includes 131 images of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton photographed by Gianni Bozzacchi in 35mm film negatives and a DVD containing the images in digital format. The negatives in the Collection are vintage negatives. Based upon the photograhper's sworn testimony, Mr. Bozzacchi retouched prints made by him from his original negatives, which were approved by Elizabeth Taylor. The original unretouched film negatives were then intentionally destroyed by Bozzacchi as part of this process. The retouched prints were then properly re-photographed by the photographer. These are the only negatives of this material in existence. Many of the images were used in the book "The Queen and I" published by the University of Wisconsin Press. Although Guernsey's has been informed that all the photographer's copyrights to these images are conveyed to the buyer of this lot, interested parties are urged to contact the auction house which will introduce said buyers to counsel for the consignor for the purpose of determining the extent of such copyrights.
