Written in blue ink on pale green notepaper with the printed logo of the Mount Royal Hotel, Marble Arch, London, W1. The paper has been folded into quarters. The text of the note is in Frank Sinatra's own handwriting: "For Value received I promise to pay Louis Vitagliano $4800.00 forty-eight hundred dollars on September 1, 1963. Frank Sinatra". Sinatra was in London in 1963 to record a record "Great Songs from Great Britain".
