When he's not busy painting portraits or illustrating stories for publications such as "Rolling Stone" and "The New York Times," artist Thomas Fuchs is strumming his guitar. His professor in art school, the legendary Heinz Edelmann (Beatles' Yellow Submarine), once jokingly told him he'd have to choose between being an artist and being a rockstar. Thomas hand-painted this Fender® Stratocaster® for collectors of art who support music education for all. http://www.thomasfuchs.com ; http://www.aheartaday.com ***Note*** This guitar was painted with acrylic paint and clear-coated to create a one-of-a-kind, playable piece of music/art memorabilia. You are bidding on a one-of-a-kind guitar personally decorated and/or autographed by the artist. This artist-customized guitar is a modified version of the Fender® Standard Series Stratocaster®. It has been modified in that it has no pick guard, in order to maximize the artist's canvas. This guitar is one of 60 ever made by Fender® at Fender® Ensenada, the Fender® Mexico manufacturing facility. 100% of the proceeds go to Little Kids Rock, a nonprofit that restores and revitalizes music programs in underfunded public schools nationwide.
