A FINE IMPERIAL RUSSIAN CRIMEAN WAR HUSSAR'S MILITARY JACKET, CIRCA 1855.  Bright blue wool Attila for an officer of the 12th Regiment with gold bullion cord frogging and collar and cuff braid.  Triple row of brass ball buttons with the unit number "12".  Lined in padded white silk, now considerably frayed.  Garment appears to be completely hand sewn. Provenance: Reputed to have been captured from a Russian baggage train outside Sebastopol.
