Roman Pincer Clamp Group2nd-3rd century AD. A group of two iron pincer clamps, each formed from a flat-section bow with integral catchplate, hinged pin forming a pincer with the bow's extension; two with suspension ring. 55 grams, 13.1-13.4 cm (5 1/4"). From the family collection of a London gentleman; formed in the late 1940s-1950s; thence by descent.Fine condition, cleaned and conserved. Items come with Certificate of Authenticity.
